Let your voice be heard

Church, let your voice be heard. We have been silent too long. It is time to rise from the ashes. Too long have we been over looked. It is time to fight. Does any have courage? Let him speak. Does any have strength? Let him work. Are any willing to stand? Let them stand together. God has empowered the church. What will we do? Speak out against sin. Speak out against oppression. Let the people know what kind of God we serve. Make phone calls. Write letters. Send emails. Let our government know ,"we will be silent no more!" Remember these words from the bible. EPHESIANS 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

superpower

So, It seems like everyone I speak with lately thinks the USA is untouchable. I disagree. The USA is in grave danger. We are not going to be taken by force. I do believe for now,that we have the greatest military in the world. The military can't fight against the terror we face. I'm not talkin about the terror without. I am talkin about the terror within. We will be taken by deceit. Tolerance of everything but Christianity will take us down. You don't believe me.... read revelation. Not to mention our wonderful(not)president is a new age follower. People say "our freedom of speech will never be taken away." You can be wrong if you want to. People say "we are a superpower. No one can stop us." Tell that to the USSR.......... Oh wait, you can't. Do you know why? It doesn't exist anymore. Russia was a superpower until 1991. Now they're not. If you remember, no one conquered them from the outside. They fell apart because of socialism. Oh, by the way. Do you know what kind of president we have??? I mean besides a murderer. He is a socialist. That's right...... a socialist. If you don't have a clue what I am talking about... look into it.

Freedom of choice act 2

Looks like Obama broke his promise to planned parenthood. Surprise, surprise, that's what liars do... they lie. Oh well, I am glad the act was not signed. Although, he did lift the ban on our tax dollars being used to fund abortions overseas. Congratulations America.... You are now in the overseas abortion business.

small mind in a big head

Our mind is finite. Why can't we just accept it.... we don't know everything. I'm not saying we shouldn't study and ponder about our Lord. I'm just saying, we shouldn't spend our time trying to figure out every detail. What I mean is , There are somethings we can't understand. God is God, He knows everything. Man is a strange creature. We like to think we know everything. Even if we don't know something, we act like we know about it. Who is man to think we know everything about God. Let's let God be God........let's just have faith. 1 cor 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord,that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

who cares

The church numbers have declined. The numbers continue to decline. Does anyone even care? Seems like the best thing we can come up with is...."the numbers aren't important." I think they are. Don't get me wrong, Where two or three are gathered God will be there also. Instead of letting this fact bring glory to God......we use it as an excuse. As a matter of fact who would want a church that didn't desire more numbers? I know, We should be more concerned about growing closer with what we have. I agree. Only thing is, That also is in decline. What do we do? Do we continue to be satisfied with mediocrity, or do we go and make disciples? Someone once told me"an effective ministry is a ministry that produces disciples. A failed ministry is one that does not produce disciples." By those standards.......I have failed.

Movies

What kind of movies do you like? Do you like clean movies that support morality? Maybe you're one of those people that call themselves Christians, yet watch nasty, vile,immoral movies. I don't get it. How can someone call themselves a Christian, and watch a movie in which they curse the name of God? It's not just movies; it could be the participation or consent to any immoral activity. Personally, I have enough imperfections without unholy entertainment. I had a person tell me once. "I just overlook bad language in movies." People, that's just it...... I can't overlook someone cursing my God. After all, Jesus did die for me. Let me say this... God does not overlook SIN. God did not send His Son Jesus to pay the penalty for my sin so that I could spit in His face. That is what we do when we consent to SIN........ we spit in His face.

Obama retook his inaugural oath and didn't use a bible to place his hand on? I wonder what this means? Most people will just overlook this. Isn't Obama the only President not to be sworn in on a bible? Some people will say "they used a bible the first time." OK..... Then why did they redo the oath?

What have we done

What have we done so far this week to build up the church? Have you been a witness to any one? Have you prayed for the church? Have you visited or invited anyone to church? What will you do tomorrow? Have you prayed for mid week service(prayer meeting)? Have you prayed for Sunday service. Will you come to prayer meeting? Will you come Sunday morning? Will you come Sunday night? What have we done this week? What will we do next week? Let me challenge you with this. Before you go to sleep every night, for 30 days ask yourself this.... What have I done.

Talk Talk Talk

Any preachers reading this post? Don't you just love the way some people just talk, talk, talk during your sermon. Maybe you don't have that problem. Maybe people respect you enough to at least act like they're interested to hear what the Lord has given you for the church. What they don't realize is that they are not disrespecting you..... They are disrespecting God. What has happened to people these days? If it's not clipping finger nails in church, it's balancing a checkbook. I guess I won't mention anything else. I know, it sounds like I'm trashing my people.... I'm not. Hey if it's true it's true. Just remember. It's not about you, it's about God.

Freedom Of Choice Act

Barack Obama made a promise on national television to planed parenthood. This was the promise."I promise you, the first thing I would do if I am elected is sign the freedom of choice act. That is the first thing I would do." If Obama keeps his promise,he will sign this act as his first order of business. I assume that means in the hours following his inauguration he will have signed the freedom of choice act. "What is this act?" you ask. Let me tell you. This act nullifies every and all laws against abortion. This makes abortion(murder) a legal right. As you know, a persons legal right is protected by the constitution of the United States Of America. "What about freedom of speech?" you say. If abortion is a legal right then if you speak against it you have infringed on an others right. It' like murder, for example You don't have the right to kill someone because they have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If you kill them you have infringed on there right to life. So if this act is passed we can no longer speak against abortion. This puts the church in a spot. We must speak against abortion. Will the church go silent to avoid persecution or will we stand and invite persecution. This is not just about abortion. This is a way to persecute the church. Preachers will be told not to speak on abortion, it will be unconstitutional(hate speech) We will see persecution unless the Lord returns. Are you ready to risk prison, or will you keep silent? What will you do?

Church..... Church..... Church..... Where are you church? It is time for the church to wake up. It is time for the church to get on fire for God. It is time for the church to take a stand. We are simply not doing enough . Yeah, I said it! WE ARE NOT DOING ENOUGH! Anyone who thinks they are doing enough has been deceived. It is not enough. Did I mention, we are not doing enough? The Lord commanded us to go and make disciples. We have decided instead, we will let them come to us. We are not supposed to wait.... we are supposed to go. Lets go! Lets go!! What are we waiting for? Lets go!!!

The only things I can think of that are truly discriminatory are things like the United Negro College Fund, Jet Magazine, Black Entertainment Television, and Miss Black America. Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America; and see what happens...Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door.Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game. I believe they are called the Boy Scouts for a reason, which is why there are no girls allowed. Girls belong in the Girl Scouts! ARE YOU LISTENING, MARTHA BURKE ? I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion.I have the right 'NOT' to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off.When 70% of the people who get arrested are black, in cities where 70% of the population is black, that is not racial profiling; it is the Law of Probability.I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English! My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.I think the police should have every right to shoot you if you threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word 'freeze' or 'stop' in English, see the above lines.I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk our lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a living document; and open to their interpretations.I don't hate the rich; I don't pity the poor. I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them.I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more.
