Freedom Of Choice Act
Barack Obama made a promise on national television to planed parenthood. This was the promise."I promise you, the first thing I would do if I am elected is sign the freedom of choice act. That is the first thing I would do." If Obama keeps his promise,he will sign this act as his first order of business. I assume that means in the hours following his inauguration he will have signed the freedom of choice act. "What is this act?" you ask. Let me tell you. This act nullifies every and all laws against abortion. This makes abortion(murder) a legal right. As you know, a persons legal right is protected by the constitution of the United States Of America. "What about freedom of speech?" you say. If abortion is a legal right then if you speak against it you have infringed on an others right. It' like murder, for example You don't have the right to kill someone because they have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If you kill them you have infringed on there right to life. So if this act is passed we can no longer speak against abortion. This puts the church in a spot. We must speak against abortion. Will the church go silent to avoid persecution or will we stand and invite persecution. This is not just about abortion. This is a way to persecute the church. Preachers will be told not to speak on abortion, it will be unconstitutional(hate speech) We will see persecution unless the Lord returns. Are you ready to risk prison, or will you keep silent? What will you do?

acts 5:41&42 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
I pray the church will not be silent over the slaughter of innocence. If we do, we need not call ourselves Christians any more.
I agree that the church should stand against abortion. However,in the event that it is made a legal right to have an abortion, the freedom of speech will still stand. We also have the right, in the United States Constitution, to bear arms. People all over the United States protest that right everyday but they haven't infringed on our rights. Although I may not agree with what they are saying (which do not), they are simply expressing their right to the freedom of speech just as I express my right to bear arms. Again, I completely agree that abortion is wrong and it is murder. I also agree that we should express our right to the freedom of speech to stand against it, but we won't be infringing on anyone else's rights by doing so. These facts are not meant to degrade the importance of opposing abortion, but should only further motivate Christians to continue to speak against the act.
I may be wrong, but I really believe the church will be perscuteion through the freedom of choice act. Everyone I speak to seems to think our freedom is secure and untouchable. Corey, I don't know where you stand on this, but I believe our freedom is hanging by a thread. I hope I am wrong, but I'm probably not.
The right to bear arms protest has not been defined as hate speech. This abortion protest will be. You will see.
